The Feminine Divine |
How do you visualize God? The traditional Christian sense of the Divine portrays God as "Father." But in scripture, the Almighty is also described as a nurturer, a trait more associated with motherhood. This is our theme on this two-part series of CONTACT radio shows. In recent years, best-selling books, artwork and movies have sparked worldwide debate on the idea of a feminine Divine. Our guests, spiritual counselors Mary Lou and Kim Schneider, say whether you're a man or a woman, exploring the "feminine" side of the Divine may enhance your relationship with God and deepen your own spirituality. On the second part of this series entitled "Connecting with the Feminine Divine," our guests mother-daughter spiritual counseling team Mary Lou and Kim Schneider continue their reflection on feminine spirituality. They also discuss their popular "Tools for Transformation" course and share insights they've gained from their special working relationship.
